Hi, my name is Donna, I am 48 years old, married with two children and a King Charles Spaniel called Cooper. I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for over 20 years and have completed my NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. I am fully insured, DBS checked and First Aid trained. In addition I am the Vacancy Secretary (Sawley area) for the Peace of Mind Childminding Group. I organise lots of trips and activities through out the year, from trips to the seaside to zoos, farms to sports days and teddy bear picnics to nature walks…
My Experience
I have been minding for over 20 years and look after Children from Birth, up to the age of 11 years old. I looked after a child who suffered from seizures for over 10 years, and another who had food intolerances. I have received additional training to enable me to deal with this confidently. I am also registered with Derbyshire County Council to deliver the 2, 3 and 4 year old funding.
I have looked after children with additional needs and worked with various agencies to support the child and family including Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists, Health Visitors and Family Social Workers.
My Qualifications
I hold my NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, I am First Aid trained and fully up to date with all other required courses.
My Availability
I work between the hours of 07:15 and 17:30 Monday to Friday, although I don’t offer an afterschool pick up on a Friday, I take to, and pick up from Sawley Nursery, Infant and Junior Schools. I am available throughout most of the school holidays and inset days, although I do not work on Fridays in the holidays.
My Fees
- Childminding from £4.80 per hour
I charge an all inclusive rate of £4.80 per hour, this includes all meals, snacks, activities and trips.
